Indonesia will have 19 representatives at the Macau Open 2025, with all eyes on the men’s doubles pair, Nikolaus Joaquin and Raymond Indra, making their debut in the prestigious BWF World Tour event. The tournament is set to take place at the Macao East Asian Game Dome from July 29 to August 3, 2025, as part of the BWF World Tour Super 300 series.
Joquin and Raymond have previously competed at the junior level, clinching titles like the Singapore International, Luxembourg Open, and Denmark Challenge 2025 as they transition to the senior level. Trained by the renowned coach Chafidz Yusuf, known for producing top players like Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo/Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu, the pair brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the tournament.
Other Indonesian representatives include top names like Jonatan Christie, Alwi Farhan, Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi, and Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani. The women’s doubles pair Apriyani Rahayu/Febi Setianingrum, as well as the mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, will also be vying for success at the Macau Open 2025.
