Di Indonesia, Disney Plus is available through Disney Plus Hotstar. Last October, Disney Plus Hotstar streaming platform users in Indonesia had to start paying their subscription packages at a much higher price.
This is because Disney Plus Hotstar released a notification to users about the price increase that took effect from October 3, 2023.
Based on the SMS notification received by Tekno Liputan6.com, the annual package that was previously priced at IDR 199,000, has drastically increased to IDR 799,000 with the addition of the Premium Annual Package.
Meanwhile, the old price for monthly Disney Plus Hotstar package for customers was IDR 39,000.
Quoting information on the official Hotstar page, Saturday (2/9/2023), the Premium Annual Package itself is actually one of the subscription options offered.
Disney+ Hotstar revealed that there will be two types of subscription packages in the future, namely Basic and Premium, with two payment options for monthly or annual payments.
As for the Disney+ Hotstar Basic Package, it will be priced at IDR 65,000 per month or IDR 450,000 per year. Meanwhile, the Disney+ Hotstar Premium Package is priced at IDR 119,000 per month or IDR 799,000 per year.
