President Prabowo Subianto recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at the Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President personally took the time to read the letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The post included two photos, one showing President Prabowo deeply engaged in reading the letters, and another revealing a student’s handwritten note.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, wrote a touching letter expressing gratitude to President Prabowo for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat, providing access to quality education, and reigniting their aspirations. The school, launched for the 2025–2026 academic year and managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, is specifically aimed at children from economically disadvantaged families.
Erni highlighted in her letter the impact of Sekolah Rakyat on their lives, stating that the school has opened doors and provided opportunities that were previously inaccessible to underprivileged students. With facilities, nutritious meals, and a supportive environment, the students can now pursue their dreams with peace of mind.
Sekolah Rakyat currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, serving economically disadvantaged families in various regions throughout the country. The school’s mission is to nurture the next generation of leaders and create a brighter future for Indonesia.
