Ironically, at that time the victim was seven months pregnant. The victim was killed by having her throat slit using a kitchen knife until she died in her room on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

Deputy Chief of Pasuruan Police, Kompol Hari Aziz, confirmed that before the murder occurred, the suspect had attempted to rape the victim.

This statement was reiterated in a press release held at Pasuruan Police Headquarters. This fact was obtained after the police conducted an examination of the suspect.

“So after taking a bath, the suspect saw the victim lying in the room. Because of the desire that arose, the perpetrator attempted rape,” said Hari Aziz, Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Aziz explained that when the suspect tried to reach for the victim’s body and kiss her, the victim screamed loudly for help.

The suspect, who then panicked, immediately took a knife from the kitchen and pinned the victim down before slitting her throat with the kitchen knife.

“The suspect slit her throat once,” said Hari Aziz.
